With explanations and examples, the presentation explains the complete set of new declarative development features in the Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) that Oracle Applications is using to build the next generation of highly-interactive Oracle Fusion Applications. Improvements span the technology stack from powerful, new declarative validation rules and declarative list-of-values definitions in ADF Business Components, to modular task flows in the ADF Controller layer, to new rich-client components for AJAX-style web application development in the ADF Faces layer, including many new data visualization components. We'll also study the new component reuse model and resource catalog for simplifying the sharing of reusable components.
