In the ADF 11g release, the ADF Faces components for JSF have been dramatically enhanced to make creating more interactive, visual web applications simpler than ever. In addition, a new declarative construct called a "task flow" allows you model transctional page flows with conditional routing and custom code invocations to create modular, encapsulated, reusable units of application user interface. Through explanation and demonstrations, this presentation introduces you to the powerful combination of these two technologies that form the basis for the view and controller layers of the new Oracle Fusion applications, highlighting along the way the visual design time support that JDeveloper 11g provides for both of them.
