Cilj predavanja je upoznati prisutne sa novim smjerom i budućim vizijama rada Oracle Globalne Podrške. Novim pristupom želimo napraviti iskorak iz reaktivnog modela pružanja podrške prema proaktivnom načinu rada koji je utemeljen na funkcionalnosti Oracle Configuration Manager-a.
Tokom prezentacije biti će opisan najvažniji proaktivni alati i mehanizmi informiranja koji su već raspoloživi unutar postojeće Premier Podrške.
Sadržaj čine:
Transformacije usluga Podrške, funkcionalnosti MOS portala, funkcionalnosti Configuration Manager-a, Oracle Communities, nove informacije vezane za postojeće dijagnostičke alate, Oracle Lifetime Support policy i ostali izvori informacija dostupnih korisnicima Oracle Podrške.
New directions using global support
Abstract:
Objective of the lecture is to familiarize attendees with the new direction and future vision of Oracle's global support. While using this new approach we want to make a move from a reactive support model to a proactive mode, which is based on the functionality of Oracle Configuration Manager.
During the presentation we will describe the most important proactive tools and information mechanisms already available within the existing Premier Support.
Content includes:
Transformations of support services, MOS portal functionality, Configuration Manager functionality, Oracle Communities, new informations relating to existing diagnostic tools, the Oracle Lifetime Support Policy and other sources of informations available to users of Oracle Support.

Završio FER u Zagrebu 1992. i znanstveni postdiplomski studij na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, IT Management. Zaposlen u Oracle Hrvatska od 1994 godine. Prije toga također radi sa Oracle tehnologijama kao developer u Oracle partnerskoj firmi, Inforiz.
Certificirani DBA. Od 1995-2004 na poziciji Team Leader-a lokalne tehničke podrške kao i timova Globalne support organizacije. Usporedo vodio i projekte Napredne podrške za veće korisnike u Hrvatskoj i regiji.
Trenutno na poziciji Customer Services Managera u Oracle Hrvatska, odjel Tehničke podrške.
Bio:
Graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in 1992 and later completed a Postgraduate scientific studies in IT management at Faculty of Economics and Business. Oracle employee since 1994. Before that also worked with Oracle technologies as a developer in Oracle partner company, Inforiz.
Certified DBA. From 1995-2004 worked as Team Leader for local technical support teams as well as the Global Support Organization. Simultaneously led projects for Advanced Customer Services for customers in Croatia and the region.
Currently holds the position of Customer Service Manager at Oracle Croatia, technical support department, in charge for key Support customers.
