Mutexes And Changes in Library Cache

U najnovijim verzijama Oracle baze podataka većina "kvaka" je zamijenjeno s "mutex"-ama. Mutexe su jeftinije u smislu sistemskih resursa koji se koriste, a treba riješiti neke od najkritičnijih problema koji su bili rezultat spoticanja u prošlosti. Mi ćemo razgovarati o mutex-ama u cjelini, a posebno u odnosu na Cachea library (V $ SQL i srodni SGA strukture). U novijim verzijama sustava baze podataka Oracle je promijenio neke od temeljnih struktura u SGA koji se odnose na Cachea library uz ažuriranje kako ih pravilno koristiti.

Mutexes And Changes in Library Cache
Abstract:
In latest versions of Oracle database the most of the latches were replaced with mutexes. Mutexes are cheaper in terms of system resources used and should resolve some of the most critical problems which were results of latch contention in past. We will discuss the mutexes in general and especially in relation to the library cache (V$SQL and related SGA structures). In recent versions of the database Oracle has changed some of the underlying structures in SGA which are related to the library cache so an update how to properly use them is required.
