HP ujedinjena rješenja za Oracle baza podataka

HP u svom portfelju drži brojna rješenja za Oracle baze podataka i Oracle aplikacije. Jedna od najinteresantnijih rješenja sa aspekta performansi i kapaciteta su HP unificirana rješenja za Oracle baze i Oracle aplikacije, koja su visoko proširiva bez prekida u radu, osiguravaju najveći stupanj zaštite podataka, te visoku dostupnost. Na konkretnom primjeru pokazati ćemo kolike performanse se mogu postići takvim sustavima, te kako ona osiguravaju visoku dostupnost koristeći Oracle Data Guard.

Abstract:
In his portfolio, HP holds numerous solutions for Oracle databases and Oracle applications. One of the most interesting solutions in terms of performance and capacity are HP Unified Solution for Oracle Database and Oracle applications, which are highly extensible without interruption, ensuring the highest level of data protection and high availability. In a concrete example we will show how many IOPS can be achieved by such systems, and how they provide high availability using Oracle Data Guard.

Dr. Draško Tomić je zaposlen kao tehnički savjetnik u tvrtci Hewlett-Packard, gdje pomaže kod razvoja i implementacije složenih IT rješenja za veće tvrtke i vladine institucije. Unutar HP tvrtke, dr. Tomić obnaša slijedeće dužnosti: HP Chief Technologist, HP Converged Infrastructure Ambassador, HP Mission Critical Systems Ambassador I HP Master ASE. Dr. Tomić je objavio brojne znanstvene i stručne radove u domaćim i stranim časopisima, te održao predavanja na raznim skupovima.
Bio:
Dr. Drasko Tomic is employed as a technical consultant in Hewlett-Packard company, and assists in the development of IT solutions for large companies and governmental institutions within SEE region. Currently he holds following positions within HP: HP Chief Technologist, HP Converged Infrastructure Ambassador, HP Mission Critical Ambassador and HP Master ASE. He published numerous scientific and technical papers in national and international journals, and has contributed with numerous talks on various conferences.
